spring break.
Posted
Well, I'm home. I have been home for a week.
I'm going slightly stir-crazy.
Most of my friends had their breaks last week, so I got to hang out with Rob, Drew, and Trae a little bit, which was great. But now they've all gone back to school and I've been at home by myself since Sunday. I've written a little bit, but not nearly enough to satisfy myself, and I'm having a hard time forcing myself to sit down and actually do it. I also have a bit of homework to do that I haven't done, and costumes to build. I'm starting that one today - dying cheesecloth blue is today's activity.
Katie gets home from the beach tomorrow, and I think Greg gets home from Disney World sometime soon, so I can hang out with them this weekend, which will be nice - I haven't seen either of them in so long. I think I might get Greg to go to a movie with me so I can steal some of his popcorn. For some reason, whenever we go to a movie together, he and I sit next to each other for the express purpose of my stealing some of his popcorn. It's really entertaining for me, lol.
And I've already got lunch scheduled on Friday with Katie - I am so excited about that. I miss her tons.
Also, this is probably preemptive, but I think I've found a movie that I like better than the book. The Princess Bride by S. Morgenstern and abridged by William Goldman (apparently the original version is incredibly boring - lots of history and pointless description, so Mr. Goldman has cut it down so that the narrative is the majority of the story, rather than the history and pointless description) is good, but not as good as the movie. Of course, I'm only about halfway through it, so my mind may change, but right now I prefer the movie.
Anyway, I have some things that I need to do. I guess we'll just wait and see if I actually do them...
